Property Appraiser Accepting Applications for Partial Property Tax Refunds

The Charlotte County Property Appraiser is now accepting applications for partial 2024 property tax refunds if a residential improvement was destroyed or rendered uninhabitable for at least 30 days due to a catastrophic event (hurricane, fire, or other natural disaster).
County Opens Permitting Site in Englewood for Residential Storm-Related Permits

The Charlotte County Community Development Department has opened a pop-up permitting site at the Mac V. Horton West County Annex, located at 6868 San Casa Drive, Englewood. This location will assist homeowners and contractors with residential storm-related permits.
